This prayer is the beautiful beginning to an eternal love affair. It is the key to the Kingdom, the gift of salvation, the loosening of bonds, the freeing of your soul, and your ticket to eternity. It is the pivotal foundation on which your personal relationship with Jesus Christ is built.
We are all born sinners. Adam and Eve’s sin separated us from God and sin is like a chronic disease that we are inflicted with. The sinful nature that causes us to lie, cheat, steal or even worse is in all of us and the Bible tells us that all sin is the same. No sin is greater than another it all separates us from God. God is so Holy and so pure he cannot accept sin. That is the beauty of what Christ did for you on Calvary, he was the sacrifice for your sins, his blood covers your sins and makes you clean in the sight of God. It washes all your sins away and you are made a brand new creation in Christ. Its a simple prayer that will change your life for all eternity I hope you will say it with me…
Dear Heavenly Father,
In your word in John 3:16 you say “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” I come humbly before you Father and I ask to accept your Son, Jesus Christ, as my personal savior this very moment.
I believe that Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son, that He came to earth in the flesh and died on the cross as atonement for the sins of the world, and that my sins are covered and cleansed in that atonement. I believe that Jesus Christ then rose from the dead on the third day to give all of us who believe eternal life.
Lord Jesus,
I confess to You all of the wrong and sinful things that I have ever done in my life. Search my heart Lord and cleanse it of all unrighteousness. Please forgive all of my sins Jesus, sins I knowingly and unknowingly committed. I ask that You please forgive me and wash away all of my sins by the blood that You have personally shed for me on the cross. I am now ready to accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. I now ask that You come into my life, into my heart and live with me for all of eternity.
Father, Jesus – I now believe that I am truly saved and born again.
Thank You Father.

Setting apart a few moments to start your day in prayer is a great way to set your day up on a positive note and get you protected and grounded as you go through your daily routine.
