My family uses Medi-Share from Christian Care Ministry and I LOVE it! It is less expensive than traditional insurance & my rep always prays with me when I call in about my account. When my son had tonsillitis he received so many postcards from other members to encourage him and to show him they were praying for a full recovery.
We get to visit a doctor 24-7 on the computer or via my tablet for free so no more germ infested waiting rooms during flu season. And it is so nice knowing that 0 of my dollars goes towards funding other peoples abortions. Through their Christian Credit Union you can even get financing for adoptions.
This ministry is a true God send. If you are self employed or are in Ministry I strongly recommend them. My monthly amount is half of what traditional insurance plans wanted. They are also Affordable Care Act Compliant so no fines at tax time.
In my personal opinion – I will never go back to regular insurance again. My money goes to fill other peoples needs. I get statements that tell me exactly who my share amount went to and I have an opportunity to pray for them as well. Its a community of Christians doing what we are instructed to do in the Bible – share each others needs. Every month when I send in my money I feel fulfilled. Not like I just paid a bill, but like I am blessing others in a true time of need. I love this ministry.
PS. Just as I was finishing this article I got an email message from another member thanking me for sharing in their medical bill needs for the delivery of their child. The message even detailed how much of my premium went to fill their need. It is a wonderful feeling to know that my monthly share amount was used to bless this couple at such a special time in their lives! See it is an awesome ministry to be a part of!

It really is awesome. I was kinda leery of it because I have always had traditional health insurance. But it has truly been one of the best decisions ever. It is so cool that when I call them the representative always asks to pray for me before I hang up. And I have been to a hospital, doctors office and even a children’s hospital and I never have had any issue with them accepting the medi-share cards or info.
