I read the NIV translation. What do you think of it?
I like the NIV. It’s easy to read and flows well. I have an account on Biblarc.com and you can set up to three translations as your preference. When you read a scripture and place your mouse over the number a pop up window comes up giving the scripture in all three versions so you can see if anything is too different. I love it. And it’s free.
What do you think of The Message? Is it too loose for you?
I personally study from a KJV of the Bible and cross reference other translations, the NIV being one, buuutttttt…..

Be careful.
I am reading those 3 books right now because my Bible study class is studying Paul and faith.
Awesome. These and Ephesians are some of my favorite books ❤️
I love those books as well! I also love Proverbs and Song of Solomon.
Yes they are beautiful and contain a lot of wisdom!
Our Bible study has just finished up all the Pauline epistles. Now are on to Hebrews! Enjoying it immensely!
Although we don’t know and will only find out perhaps in Heaven, I think Paul wrote Hebrews.
We have that discussion often! 😊
