“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
1 Peter 4:8
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
1 Peter 4:8
You should never doubt if God loves you, especially if you have access to a Bible. The Bible tells us that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son in John 3:16. He lovingly gave us a way to reconcile ourselves to him. He graciously prepared His Word, to draw you to him, and to teach you how to reconcile with him. In the Word he set forth example after example of his desire to be reconciled with you – through Old Testament Law through New Testament Atonement. It is all a love letter to human beings, of Gods patience and perfect plan, to reconcile you to him.
He made the way, He provided the map, and He gives you the understanding and strength to complete the journey.
But do you love God?
Proverbs 6:16 teaches us the seven things God hates…
“Here are six things God hates, and one more that he loathes with a passion: eyes that are arrogant, a tongue that lies, hands that murder the innocent, a heart that hatches evil plots, feet that race down a wicked track, a mouth that lies under oath, a troublemaker in the family.”
Notice that God says he hates the eyes, the tongue, the hands, the heart, the feet, the mouth that shine pridefully, speaks lies, murders, holds evil plans, runs towards wickedness and lies under oath….
Sounds as if God hates the sinner right along with the sin. He didn’t say. I love the mouth but hate the lies it tells, or I love your heart but hate the evil that it holds.
And here presents our dire need for God’s divine grace.
By Gods divine grace he created a way through his Son to be redeemed, to be justified, to be saved. Only through Christ’s work on the Cross can we be reconciled to God and forgiven of our sins. In fact, by his grace the entire system of self righteousness becomes null and void, because it is fulfilled by Christ for the believer. There is nothing ANYONE can add to the atonement. All have fallen short. None are good – no not one. Those that do not have Christ’s sanctification cannot be reconciled to God.
He gave us The Word – in written form and then the Word hung on the Cross – to be a fulfillment of all we lack to be reconciled to God. He bridged the gap to adoption and forgiveness.
So the question is never does God love you. Even while you were at enmity with him, he created the way for you to be reconciled.
The question is always…do you love God?
John 1 verses 1, 16, 17
1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
16 “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.”
17 “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”
John 14:6
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me”
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
A Word Picture…
Imagine if you will a huge glorious mansion. Inside the mansion is God. He is constantly calling for you to come inside. You hear him calling and want to come to him. Because God is Holy as you are in your natural born sinful nature you could not enter Gods holy presence without being destroyed. Remember all of the Old Testament rituals that produced a priest that was clean enough to enter the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle? Ritual cleansing and sacrifices were necessary to be in Gods presence without being destroyed because of his divine holiness. Today, we have that through Jesus, we are cleansed to stand in the presence of God. There is a great door to this grand mansion all you must do is open it and as you walk through you will be cleansed so you can be in fellowship with God.
The door to God is Jesus.
He lived, died, and rose again so that as you pass through Him, you are reconciled to God the Father. Cleansed of your sins, redeemed and sanctified, and able to walk confidently to the Father.
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” – John 10:9
He does for you, what you could never do for yourself, he saves you…
because he loves you.
If you would like to walk through the door to be reconciled to The Heavenly Father and receive your salvation I encourage you to give your life to the Lord today…Visit The Sinners Prayer Page and give your heart and life to the Lord!

Beautiful presentation of the gospel!
I am soooo thankful for salvation. I am soooo thankful for Christ. I can’t help telling others what he wants to do for them.
