Believe & Love : Our Christian Manifesto

Over an absolutely delicious and somewhat strong cup of joe this morning I am meditating on 1 John 3:23-24 “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”

What an absolutely perfect manifesto for the Christian walk this scripture is. I am an avid reader, I love to read and I have been reading since I was very, very, young. I have to testify that there is no book like THEE BOOK. So much truth, so much wisdom, so much perfection from cover to cover. Everyday I wake up and just praise God for another day to walk with Jesus in this realm, to love my brothers and sisters in Christ, and witness to those who do not know the good news. We don’t have to live defeated! We don’t have to die defeated! The Lord has made us mighty and has equipped us with everything we need to face every struggle head on with perseverance.

Life getting rough? Hit your knees and he will bring you threw it. Believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as he gave us commandment! That is it…that is your manifesto. It’s not about getting a second car or a bigger house or another degree it’s about BELIEVING AND LOVING!!!! This is the path to fulfilling your purpose, finding your passion and  having a satisfying life! Whatever you do, whoever you become your foundation should remain – BELIEVE & LOVE! Simple. Encouraging. Perfection. I love you all! Have a beautiful blessed day! BELIEVE & LOVE!

  1. As an avid reader, I absolutely agree! There is no other book that I thoroughly enjoy as the Bible. It’s also the only book that I reread as soon as I reach the last page.

    1. It is the only book that it’s words water your soul. I always come away from it feeling better than when I started reading it. Like a plant that just got watered.

  2. IN 1977-1978 I was the director of the Sky King Youth Ranches in Central Florida. I loved my coffee then as now. There were 13 acres covered with orange groves and 16 horses. I believed I was in heaven and have tried every since to get back to a place like that. Thank you for your post, as always.

    1. I did some Ministry training at a place called faith farm in okeechobee Fl…mornings, coffee and Jesus go hand in hand 😁
