God The Creator : Artist of All Creation

As an artist, perhaps it’s easier for me to believe in a Sovereign God. He has gifted me with the ability to see things in my mind and draw them out onto paper, wood, walls. The world, the universe, even the laws of physics had to have a creator. Someone who drafted them out, saw them as a thought, and brought them to be.

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist”. –  Colossians 1:16-17

People say God doesn’t exist, you can’t prove he does. He’s non tangible in this world. There are many things that are non tangible yet exist. My ability to draw or paint, someone else’s ability to sing or write music. There are many gifts that the only evidence that they exist is in their creations. Michelangelo created the statue David, God created the original David. As Gods children we have received certain talents that reflect our Father through which we learn about his Divine Being. Jesus said, if you see me you have seen the Father, we are also created in God’s image and received his likeness in certain gifts and talents.

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”Hebrews 11:3

God is the original artist, sculptor, writer, lyricist, musical composer, musician, phycisist, physician, astronomer, geologist, scientist, genealogist, lawyer, governor, King. In fact, whatever you see here on earth is only a reflection of our Fathers attributes. Pretty amazing to think about. Meditate on it for a moment. We are truly made in our Fathers image, inside and out.

“Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

      1. Both the message and the paintings are lovely Dear Tamara.

Anyone can say what, for me however, there is overwhelming evidence of the hand of God in all I see. I pray that those who have deliberately made themselves blind to the truth as well as other who have been misguided into believing the lie should all come to the knowledge of the true God.

Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and His tangible presence in my life is part of the evidence I see. If I should add my persuasion from my science background, there would be more compelling evidence.

How we need to experience Lord Jesus today.

More of Lord Jesus to you.

  1. Will certainly be reflecting more on what you have shared here Tamara.

“whatever you see here on earth is only a reflection of our Fathers attributes. Pretty amazing to think about. Meditate on it for a moment. We are truly made in our Fathers image, inside and out.”– Really good stuff to carry in our minds. Thanks for your thoughts

  2. Everything we see on Earth is a reflection of God… wow, I never thought of it that way! We know talents and gifts are given by God (reminds me of the parable of talents), but this post made me see in a different perspective.

  3. This is a great and inspiring post Tamara. I like the you gave us as people and as Christians the reminder that all that we have (the gifts and talents) came from God.

Every gifts that God has placed on each human being is just a reflection of God.

    1. There are so many people who have anointed gifts from God. I heard someone say they felt that Elton John should have written praise and worship songs. There are so many talented, gifted people with anointings that God has gifted for the Kingdom.
