Focus. It is EVERYTHING. Focus leads to balance. Don’t trust me? Try walking on a balance beam, if your focus stays straight ahead you remain balanced and it’s easy going. Look down, focus on the ground or your feet and each step becomes awkward and unbalanced. Stay focused on Jesus, don’t look down, stare straight ahead – he’s got you!

I heard a great quote the other day. It’s better to be out on the water in the storm with Jesus than to be back on the boat without him. That hits home, even in the storm, if you have Him it is all that matters. There is no such thing as safety without Jesus, or comfort, or balance. If you need stability in your life, get closer to Jesus.
I could blog about a million things that I feel would benefit your life, tips, tricks, or life hacks. The truth ís there is only one thing you truly need in life, a steady relationship with Jesus Christ. When the Bible says “seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you”in Mathew 6:33 – it means it. Focus on Jesus and watch how your steps become steadier and your path becomes straighter.
✔️ Romans 12:2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
✔️ Romans 15:4 – For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
God desires an intimate relationship with you. He loves you, I love how the Bible says to cast your burdens into him because he cares for you. Daily prayer, daily time reading his Word, and fellowship amongst the body of Christ is fundamental for our intimacy with Christ. Put your eyes on him first, everyday. Fill your heart and mind with his love first every morning. Clarity, peace of mind and stability are all available now, when you keep the main thing the main thing!

I like the quote concerning the boat and the storm and find you so correct. Aside from everything and anything, the presence of Jesus says it all. It makes no difference where you are or what you are going through with HIM with you. Thus, the focus should be on HIM and always on HIM. As always, thank you for your post and insights. Crazy how the more we are along on our faith journey, if we are not careful, the further away we get from Jesus. All cause we get distracted by so many things. Like you said T “Focus on Jesus and watch how your steps become steadier and your path becomes straighter” A massive amen to that, as Jesus is the Christ and stands at the centre of it all!
