Biblically Correct > Politically Correct 

If you took all of the Governments on Earth and combined them – you wouldn’t have but a millifraction of the power God has in his little finger.

If you took all the books, all of the knowledge of man, and compared it to Gods…mans would be like a raindrop and Gods wisdom is beyond all the earthly seas combined.

Gods ways are so much higher than mans. God’s thoughts are perfected, God’s will Sovereign. He gave us the Bible to guide us, protect us, lead us, edify and encourage us. He speaks to us through its verses, he comforts us through its meaning and guides us through its truth.

 “7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” – Isaiah 55:7-9

Man is depraved and prone to sin, if you must chose between which to listen too ALWAYS choose the Bible. If you can’t support your feelings or thoughts with scripture, they are wrong. If your feelings, thoughts or actions are contrary to the Word of God – your feelings, thoughts and actions are wrong – not Gods Word. Change yourself – not omit or rewrite the Bible. 

The Bible doesn’t lie…it is our absolute measurement of truth.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 “For the whole Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teach, to convince, to correct, and to instruct in righteousness, That the man of God may be absolute, being made perfect unto all good works.”

Some people say well I walk by the Spirit. This is Biblical, yes. But the Spirit of God will never lead you to do anything contrary to scripture or suggest you sin. That is not the spirit of God but the spirit of the antichrist. In these last days the apostasy is alive and well and flourishing in our churches. The false doctrine of humanism is pumping full of “if it feels good it’s from God gospel”…and this brothers and sisters is a lie that you must avoid. Satan is the deceiver…we are warned to constantly try the Spirits to see from where they came.

1 John 4:1-5 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

Walk in this world aptly prepared by knowing your Bible and knowing what the Lord expects you to do while here in this temporal world. You are to be in this world but not of it. 

You should not continue to fit in with the world, not of your own doing, but because once the Spirit indwells you it is almost impossible for you to continue to be of the world, comfortably. The Holy Spirit transforms your behavior through conviction, even giving you new desires and eliminating unholy and unrighteous ones. When you become a new creation in Christ there is evidence in this world of what has happened in the spiritual world. You are born of God, why would you desire to continue to willfully sin? Will we sin? Yes that is inevitable. Should we willfully persue a sinful life that we know is displeasing to God because we are aware of Gods grace? Absolutely not. The Bible says go and sin no more. Grace is not your license to sin.

I question anyone’s salvation if they can continually and willfully commit sin without conviction. Ultimately only the Lord can judge hearts and motives and we are by no means saved by our own works, but as I have said before, the transformation from old creation to new creation in Christ is the Holy Spirits good work in and through you – there is evidence of His presence by His works.

A grape vine does not bear lemons. Once you are truly grafted into the vine that is Jesus Christ you no longer produce bad fruits…your good fruits are not evidence of your good works but of the Holy Spirits good work in you. 

 “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.” (Luke 6:43-45) 

As you are here in this world though you will encounter many people who’s opinions will very from your own, and in this case choose Biblical FACT over popular opinion. Speak the truth and move on, allowing the Spirit to work on the seed you planted. Here is how the Lord says to minister to those we encounter…

Luke 10:8-16

8 “When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. 9 Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’  10 But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, 11 ‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’ 12 I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town. 13 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. 16 “Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

And always remember this verse when you find yourself the outcast from the world. Count it all joy my brother or sister, being rejected by the world (anything contrary to the Word) means you are loving the Lord more than yourself, your ego, or your own comfort here.

“Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.” (Luke 6:22)

Ask yourself this, why would the World hate you unless you told it what it did not want to hear. If you fit into his world, if people don’t exclude you, insult you and reject you chances are you are not modeling Christ or speaking up against the sin you see. Christ said they would hate you. I see it today in certain political groups, there is an absolute hatred for all things Christian. 

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” – ‭John‬ ‭15:18-19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

That’s good, if they hate us, the Bible says we are doing something right…and the entire point of this post has been proven. Serve the Lord, not man. Love your neighbor but do not lie to him, that is not love. The Bible says Satan is the father of lies, by lieing to people about what the Bible says we are not sowing seeds from God. God demands we speak the truth with love – this is loving our neighbor biblically.
