The world is full of secular garbage anymore. Deception is everywhere. Confusion is at an all time high. Everyone’s got an opinion, decisions are made on feelings rather than facts and there are no shortages of know-it-all with soapboxes. I am constantly feeling myself being drawn farther and farther away from the toxicity of the world. The prideful displays of self grandeur – a society of narcissism spinning on an axis of validation.
Be validated in Christ alone!
Three things a Christian must remember in this world, first the Bible says for us to not concern ourselves with the mess of the world. Worry, judgement, stress, gossip or murmuring and complaining are not callings of Christians. Secondly, wicked societies eventually feel the wrath of God, and thirdly God always has a remnant. It might be a few people as in Noah’s case or it might be like the 7,000 in Elijah’s case – but make no mistake God always has a remnant.
Your job as a Christian is to stay vigilant and make sure your in that remnant. Wickedness, confusion, stress & evil men they will meet with the business end of Gods wrath in his proper and perfect timing. That’s not an if or a maybe, that’s a guarantee. God is slow to anger because he has great mercy but once he pours out his wrath – it’s too late. What can you do? Pray, fast, seek Gods peace that passes understanding and lift up those that you see that need your prayers. You would be surprised at how many people DON’T have someone praying for them.
Your private prayers will change more than your public opinions.
If we prayed as much as we complained, the world would actually change. The moment you feel agitated with or by someone or something PRAY – don’t rant on Social Media – PRAY!
Today I hide in God. My secret place where I curl up and spend time with my Almighty Father, King of The World, Love of My Life, Lord of Lords, My Absolute Everything – Jesus Christ. I ask him to fix the injustice I see, only he is capable!
Psalm 32:7 You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Psalm 119:114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word.
Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me in the shadow of Your wings
Psalm 27:5 For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.
Psalm 31:20 You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.
Psalm 64:2 Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, From the tumult of those who do iniquity,
Psalm 143:9 Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; I take refuge in You.
Isaiah 32:2 Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land.
Psalm 61:3 For You have been a refuge for me, A tower of strength against the enemy.

I remember the good old days when you only dealt with it at 6 o’clock news hour…and then you turned off the tv ate dinner and went to bed. Now it follows you around everywhere you go and everyone is a news reporter or a political analyst- I’m just like hello fetal position come hold me Jesus. 😁
I rarely watch the news. People in my office look at me weird when I’m not aware of stuff that’s going on. We went to bed at 8pm the other night. We are becoming hermits 😂
I think there is a healthy balance. We are in a political cesspool here in the US over these football players. Going to avoid Facebook for a few days…because I can’t even today. Just gonna pray, go to church tonight (they are having revival services every night till Wednesday) and mind my own 😁
Sometimes I wonder if I have what it takes to be a blogger. Many seem to just use it to give an opinion on the same junk everyone else wants to glorify. If it’s an opinion, I only feel right in marking it as such, and opinions are really not that important.
Yes I’m an NFL fan so saw that. Although the bigger shock was my team the Redskins winning in L.A. two weeks running. 😂🏉
My son is a United States Marine, and up until yesterday I was a New England Patriots fan – going on nearly 20 years. Yesterday I felt like had to decide between my son, knowing what all military families go through and the sacrifices our kids make daily, or football. I disavowed my allegiance and unfortunately for the NFL so did the majority of America. They have been struggling, last year was rough and this years rating continue to plummet. Many say that yesterday, the NFL committed suicide.
We will soon see.

I think Facebook is the downfall of society
If I didn’t have friends across the world and use it as a ministry tool, I would have no desire for it.
I use it to stay in touch with family …. every morning I share a scripture from my bible app. I often pray over people too when I see a need.
I got a lot more time in my week when I got off of Facebook.
Studies show people spend upwards of 40 hours a week on social media!!! That’s a full time job – unpaid!

Absolutely!!!! Complaining doesn’t change anything except put us and others in a terrible mood – it’s so draining to complain….but praying – it DOES change things!!!!🙏🏻 AND IT FILLS US UP!!!!

Because it is a fact that I have faith. I can also say that it is upon many separate facts that I base my faith. It’s the same as if I said…I have 4 children. My mothers name is Juanita. I have a Paint Mare named Maggie.
Non-believers miss a very huge issue that I can not reconcile for you. The Holy Spirit must provide you with the revelation of scripture. Without the Holy Spirit doing this, the mystery is locked away from you. Seeing you cannot see and hearing you cannot hear. This makes absolutely no logical sense to an unbeliever, but to a believer meaning has been unlocked from the scripture. This is a scriptural truth, one that cannot be reasoned…but must be revealed.
I am not denying the fact of your faith but rather that your faith is based on facts, which it clearly is not.
